Pill blister packaging machine | Tightness test of aluminum-plastic blister packaging
pill blister packaging machine
When it comes to pharmaceutical packaging, what everyone should know best is the aluminum-plastic blister packaging. The use of aluminum-plastic blister packaging is becoming more and more common. Because of its convenient use and good sealing effect, it is favored by consumers. This packaging has been widely used in medicine, food and other fields. However, during the sealing process of the aluminum-plastic blister package, due to the influence of various factors, there may be leakage of sealing, pressing through, or the formation of small holes connected to the inside and outside due to the cracks and micropores existing in the material itself. The contents of the package are adversely affected. Whether the aluminum-plastic blister package leaks is difficult to observe directly with the eyes. If the air leaks, the quality of the product in the package will be greatly reduced. Therefore, the tightness of the packaging directly affects the quality of the product, so the aluminum-plastic blister packaging needs to be tested for air leakage.1. Test principle
By evacuating the vacuum chamber, the sample immersed in water will generate an internal and external pressure difference, and the gas escape in the sample will be observed to determine the sealing performance of the sample; by evacuating the vacuum chamber, the sample will generate internal and external pressure. To determine the sealing performance of the sample, observe the sample shape recovery after the sample expands and releases the vacuum
experiment procedure
(1) Immerse the blister pack sample in water in an airtight jar.
(2) Close the sealing cover to ensure that there is no air leakage around the sealing cover and that the sealing tank is well sealed. Through the microcomputer operation interface, set the test parameters such as the degree of vacuum to be achieved, the holding time in the vacuum tank and other test parameters.
(3) Turn on the vacuum pump and click the test button on the operation panel to start the test.
(4) The air source unit starts to extract the air in the vacuum chamber. When the pressure in the vacuum chamber reaches the preset vacuum degree, it will automatically enter the test state.
(5) Observe the air bubbles on the surface of the sample during the vacuuming and pressure holding process. If there are continuous bubbles on the surface of the sample, record the pressure value when the continuous bubbles appear and the position of the bubbles. If there are no continuous bubbles, it indicates that the sample is well sealed under the set pressure.
(6) After the instrument stops automatically, open the air inlet valve, open the sealing cover at the same time, take out the sample, and wipe the water on the surface to see if any water penetrates into the sample.
in conclusion
Under the set time and pressure, the aluminum-plastic blister has no leakage and no water seepage.
